Aphantaisa is a condition in which you can't imagine. This article gives examples from 2 different situations; someone who can't imagine at all and someone who imagines as their job.

What Would the World be Like Wit

hout Imagination (to me)?

Thinking about this question, I am imagining myself not imagining. What I picture is emptiness, not being able to create and loneliness. Thinking about myself living life without imagining causing an emotion to erupt within me towards those who are affected by condition. I picture an 8 year old sitting at a desk trying to write a story as the teacher has requested but not being able to, and than trying to explain to the teacher. Or reading a book and not being able to have my own perspective of the story. For me, I believe it would be horrible.

In class activity: Mrs Yorke shared a story and we had to draw what we imagined.

The above image is what I had imagined while Mrs Yorke was sharing her story. Thinking back to the article I read, I really can't picture what it would be like not being able to imagine. This activity tested my imagination as well as my classmates. The end results are interesting. Everyones perspective of the story was different, meaning all of our imaginations are different.
